Last year was coronated with a magic trip to a dreamy destination, Copenhagen.
While travelling, I am always mostly fascinated by big cities. Find me repetitive, but New York preserves (and will always do) the first place. Still, I like to experiment and look for new, inspirational places to be, in Europe too.
Apparently, did not went wrong when picking Copenhagen as my next destination. Not only curated in every corner, but also the proper mix between local fashion, natural landscapes and cute dining spots.

What struck me is all about the care and enhancement of local produces. This city is fully celebrating the “made in” local attempts, while investing in whatever is organic and 100% natural.
Below a personal favorite Must Stop Guide to help you strolling around the city, making sure you have been to the coolest yet most unconventional places:
IF we are speaking of Danish Fashion, Go to:
- Af Agger: 100% danish brand with a beyond cool store, designed to have an inner chimney at the very centre. Its presence aims to recreate chill and cozy vibes of a traditional Danish home.
Plus, stylish pieces with the greatest quality are hanging everywhere around the perimeter of the store.
- Birrot: outstanding danish brand made in Korea. Such combo gave birth to clean designs and many shaped, sleeves silhouettes! Across all product categories, the store is exhibited by colour shade and that creates so much peace and harmony all around.
- By Malene Birger: my fellow fashion readers may already know this brand as it is much commercial than the others, mentioned above. Celebs like Kendall Jenner & Hailey Bieber already dared dressing their cashmere sets, wide leg pants or mind-blowing leather pieces. Once again, the store screams about Danish attitude, displaying its clean, at avant-garde design pieces in a contemporary, well-appointed space.

IF you are more into whatever involves decor and design, do not miss:
- Helle Mardahl: it may seem to enter a candy shop but you are actually not. My personal favorite design studio in Copenhagen, recreating a dreamy universe of richly coloured glass designs, offering a wide selection of tableware, lighting and art objects. Absolutely beyond!

- HAY STUDIO: another beautiful place to hit when looking for decor and furniture in Copenhagen.
It offers many cool accessories to fill up the unlimited voids of every room in your apartment. As stated, the devil stays in the detail and Hay Studio is well equipped to provide what’s needed when breaking down to detailing.
Made up on two floors, you will get lost and enchanted same time.

- New Mags: when looking at your own decor needs, books should always represent a crucial element to consider (at least, to me they are). Just right in the main streets of Copenhagen, you would find the coolest yet most provided book store on planet.
Within its stunning and visionary environment, you would for sure be attracted by its bold book titles and fascinating covers.

IF you are into contemporary art, please Make Time to Go to:
- Louisiana Museum: this museum stands out for unconventionality, being totally immersed in a natural space, overlooking the sea. It is located 40 mins by train from the centre of Copenhagen but totally worth the trip- trust me!
I have been to many contemporary art museums but this one is different! Once you enter the space, there is no way you manage to leave it before the minimum of 3 hours.

Well-structured, easy to follow and designed to entertain even the ones that are not art enthusiasts! Exhibitions run in and out the buildings.
Therefore – even if I have been in December- I would suggest to go in Spring to further enjoy the outside, gigantic space!
- The Black Diamond: public library flaunting a beautiful, contemporary aesthetics with a breathtaking view!

Free access to get in and therefore, no excuses to not go. You will be enchanted by its majestic structure and the ease in climbing its multiple staircases. Do not mind anything and explore it from head to toe!
IF you happen to be in Copenhagen, save this guide and hopefully, enjoy the tips!
Until next post,
Keep Swimming (perhaps avoid the cold waters of Copenhagen 😉 ) !
