(What) IF The Hypothetical Blog joins Elvira Club?

IF you are new to Elvira Club, let me introduce the coolest community you would ever join, made up of beautiful people accessorising their outfits with pretty (and) unconventional jewels.

The Hypothetical Blog just made a joint together with Elvira Club and by reading this post, you will understand what kind of surprise we have in store for you all!

But first, let’s better understand who’s Elvira Club and what are the requisites to join, by chit-chatting with the Founder: Giulia Brambilla!

  1. For the ones who do not know you, can you explain to us when Elvira Club was born?

Honestly, it was born in a totally random way. I had the desire to create something that had to do with necklaces and at some point, two friends of mine encouraged me to start. They were supporting me, sharing my project both via word of mouth and social media.

In other terms, Elvira Club was born for fun but within a year now, it properly developed, getting more and more structured.

To celebrate 1 year from its birth, on the 10th of July, there has been an event in Milan with music, drinks and lots of Elvira’s pretty and un-posted goodies!

2. How much of Elvira and how much of Giulia are present in the brand?

The brand is 100% Giulia. It represents fully myself, my story and my desire to create something new. Surely, without any doubts, in Giulia, there is a lot of Nonna Elvira, who was the one to transmit me the passion for necklaces, the care for details and attention to aesthetics.

When I started the brand, I decided to call the brand “Elvira” as it seemed a successful name in terms of communication, but also as it is linked to my iconic grandma. The idea of “Club” instead reconnects to the idea of community, made up of unique people to whom I would like to give special pieces made to measure for them.

Sharing everyone’s necklaces on social media attracts other people, who involuntary join the community and creates a sense of belonging among my clients.

3. Among the jewels you give birth to, which one is the one you are more attached to?

The “Medaglia” necklace is the model I am the most attached to!

One day, I was having lunch at my grandma’s when she showed me one of the necklaces purchased in a trip to India in 1968. The necklace was nothing but a chain in silver with a pendant with an Indian rupees depicting Queen Victoria.

I really loved the idea of this necklace but it stopped there until few days later, when I had an aperitivo together with a friend of mine. The latter was wearing a double twist necklace with a cameo (pendant with the figure of a woman in relief) in the middle.

Unifying these two sources of inspiration, I came up with the Medaglia necklace, a double twist piece with a medal in the middle (really appreciated among the members of the community).

4. What’s the distinctive sign making Elvira standing out?

The most distinctive sign of Elvira is the tailoring of hand-made necklaces by a young girl working in fashion. I believe that customisation ad hoc plus the research of quality materials are other elements making Elvira Club standing out!

5. What are your main inspirations to create your necklaces?

It may seem strange, but I got inspired by looking at stones, hangers, materials. It is beautiful as I get very excited throughout the whole process. I tend to buy a lot of materials and elements and then, come up with novelties.

There has been one time when my supplier ended the medal pendant and given this temporary scarcity of resources, I had the idea of replacing the medal with new, alternative pendants that turned out to be very appreciated.

Other inspirations are coming from my daily rountine and oufits I see around. Many colleagues at work are wearing shirts and that’s why I came up with necklaces that were nestled, filling up the void on the neck- from here for instance, the Camilla necklace was born.

6. I know that there is an announcement we want to make together, so why not now?

Giulia and I are more than happy to announce two limited edition necklaces that see the exclusive collaboration of Elvira Club X The Hypothetical Blog, that will be available on her official website from today!

For this special ‘joint-venture’, Giulia had the desire to create something that was of quality, refined and highly sought after.

She designed two models of necklaces: Carlotta & Isotta. Carlotta is more simple made up of pearls and colourful beads, while Isotta is more camp, hand-made with precious stones and star shaped ceramics.

As you can see, Isotta comes into beautiful lengths: short or long and many summery colours! See how Isotta and Carlotta can be amazingly styled, while filling up your summer fits!

These necklaces embody the unconventionality and uniqueness that characterises both The Hypothetical Blog and Elvira Club, preserving their distinctive DNAs.

7. Who’s interested in purchasing Elvira Club X The Hypothetical Blog collab, where can it be done?

IF interested in purchasing anything from Elvira Club, including our exclusive collaboration THB X Elvira Club, you can do that online, on her official website: www.elviraclub.com.

There will be online exclusive options and there is also a form that can be filled in whenever someone is interested in customising his/her own necklace. Still, there is the DM on Instagram where you can reach Giulia out and share your needs and ideas!
